Job Overview
The Digital Literacy Program Coordinator will lead initiatives to integrate technology into primary and secondary education systems across Nakuru County. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement digital literacy training programs for teachers and students.
- Collaborate with local schools to assess technological needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with IT partners to deploy hardware and software resources.
- Monitor program impact through data collection and reporting.
- Organize workshops on digital citizenship and online safety.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in educational technology implementation.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
li>Knowledge of open-source educational platforms (e.g., Moodle, OLAT).
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Information Technology, or related field. A Master’s Degree in Educational Technology is an added advantage.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in educational program coordination, preferably in digital learning environments. Prior work in Kenya’s public or private education sector is preferred.
Salary
120,000 – 150,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
