Job Overview
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in aligning business objectives with employees’ needs and actions. This position is not just about administrative tasks; it is about being a strategic consultant to leadership within our Embu operations. You will work closely with department heads to design and implement HR strategies that support business goals, improve employee engagement, and drive organizational performance. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to translate business requirements into effective human capital strategies.
- Lead talent acquisition and retention initiatives to ensure a steady pipeline of high-performing professionals.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational design.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
- Oversee the implementation of local labor regulations to ensure full compliance across all operations.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the regional workforce.

- Advanced proficiency in strategic workforce planning and organizational development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex HR data and metrics.
- In-depth knowledge of Kenyan Employment Act and labor relations.
- Proven ability to manage change and lead organizational transformations.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification such as CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional) is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in a human resources role, preferably within a professional services or corporate environment. Proven experience in a business partner capacity is essential for success in this role.
