Job Overview

The Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst will play a pivotal role in integrating environmental and social responsibility into Bidco Africa’s supply chain operations. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the analyst will develop strategies, monitor performance and collaborate with suppliers to reduce carbon footprints, improve resource efficiency and ensure compliance with global sustainability standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sustainability frameworks that align with Bidco Africa’s corporate goals and international best practices.
• Conduct lifecycle assessments of raw materials and finished products to identify reduction opportunities.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate supplier sustainability performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare regular sustainability reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics, risks and achievements.
• Support the development of green procurement policies and ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
• Lead cross‑functional workshops to raise awareness of sustainable practices among employees and partners.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies and regulatory changes affecting the manufacturing sector in Kenya.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex sustainability concepts to diverse audiences.
• Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, procurement practices and environmental standards (e.g., ISO 14001, GRI).
• Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as CSCP, CIPS or a Master’s degree in Sustainability will be considered an advantage.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in supply chain analysis, sustainability reporting or environmental compliance within a manufacturing or related industrial setting. Experience in the East African market is highly desirable.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 150,000 to 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives are also part of the compensation package.
