Job Overview
The Commodity Trading Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s commodity trading activities in Kenya. This will involve analyzing market trends, identifying trading opportunities, and developing strategies to maximize profits. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the commodities market, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Commodity Trading Manager will work closely with the trading team to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, while also managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s commodity trading activities in Kenya, including analyzing market trends and identifying trading opportunities
- Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profits and minimize risk
- Work closely with the trading team to identify and capitalize on market opportunities
- Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of the commodities market and trading principles
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as economics, finance, or business administration.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in commodity trading or a related field.
Salary
KES 150,000 – 250,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
