Job Overview

John Walker & Sons Kenya Limited is seeking a dynamic Urban Development Project Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of urban infrastructure projects in Nyeri. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate urban development projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with local regulations and sustainability standards.
• Collaborate with municipal authorities, engineers, and urban planners to design infrastructure solutions.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for large-scale developments.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new urban projects.
• Engage with local communities to address concerns and integrate feedback into project designs.

Required Skills

• Expertise in urban planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS) and project management tools.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proven track record in managing projects in East Africa.

Salary

250,000 – 350,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
