Job Overview
Mombasa Academy is hiring an experienced Teacher to join its academic team in Mombasa. The candidate will deliver high-quality education, design lesson plans, and foster a supportive and innovative learning environment.
Teachers are expected to motivate students, implement engaging teaching strategies, and ensure consistent academic performance. This role emphasizes the integration of technology and creativity to enhance the overall learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons across subjects.
Develop engaging teaching materials, assessments, and assignments.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
Incorporate digital learning tools and technology in teaching.
Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum development and school programs.
Participate in school activities, workshops, and parent-teacher meetings.
Support extracurricular initiatives such as clubs, sports, and arts programs.
Monitor student progress and prepare academic reports.
Encourage holistic development and critical thinking.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or subject specialization
3–5 years teaching experience
Knowledge of modern teaching methods, assessment strategies, and classroom management
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to innovative learning approaches
Salary & Benefits
Annual Salary: Approximately KES 720,000 – KES 1,000,000 per year
