Job Overview
The Digital Marketing Analytics Manager will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of data‑driven marketing initiatives for Microsoft Kenya. This role is pivotal in translating complex data sets into actionable insights that enhance campaign performance, improve customer acquisition, and boost brand visibility across digital channels. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end digital marketing measurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and optimize analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Power BI, and Microsoft Clarity.
- Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop data‑informed messaging and targeting.
- Produce regular performance dashboards and executive reports for senior leadership.
- Lead A/B testing, attribution modeling, and conversion rate optimization initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, compliance with privacy regulations, and adherence to Microsoft’s data governance standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning within the marketing analytics team.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Power BI, SQL, Python/R).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Effective communication and storytelling skills for diverse stakeholder audiences.
- Project management experience with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
- Knowledge of GDPR, Kenya Data Protection Act, and ethical data handling practices.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ), Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or similar are highly desirable.
Experience
Minimum of five years of professional experience in digital marketing analytics, preferably within a technology or SaaS environment. Demonstrated success in leading analytics projects that drive measurable business outcomes is essential.
Salary
The role offers a competitive salary range of SSP 150,000 to 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based bonuses.
