Job Overview
The Supply Chain Analytics Manager will lead data‑driven initiatives that optimize end‑to‑end supply chain processes, from raw material procurement to finished goods distribution. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the incumbent will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Production, Logistics, Sales, and Finance, to develop predictive models, dashboards, and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain advanced analytics models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and transportation planning.
- Develop interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to provide real‑time visibility into supply chain KPIs.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to align supply plans with market demand and promotional activities.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities through scenario analysis and root‑cause investigations.
- Lead data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all supply chain systems.
- Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement and data literacy.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as R, Python, or SAS.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and complex formulae.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain modules.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, inventory management, and logistics concepts.
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities to translate data insights into business actions.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CSCP, APICS, or PMP are highly desirable and will be considered an advantage during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in supply chain analytics, preferably within the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. Demonstrated success in implementing analytics solutions that drive measurable business outcomes is essential.
Salary
