Job Overview
Siemens Kenya is seeking a dynamic Advanced Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize production workflows in Eldoret’s industrial zone. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced manufacturing processes using CAD/CAM software
- Conduct root cause analysis of production inefficiencies and propose solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT-enabled machinery
- Develop standard operating procedures for lean manufacturing practices
- Monitor production metrics and generate performance improvement reports
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Siemens Tecnomatix or similar simulation software
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, AI, Digital Twins)
- Strong analytical skills for process optimization
- Excellent communication for stakeholder coordination
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Systems preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years in manufacturing process engineering
- Proven track record in production line optimization
Salary
250,000 – 350,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
