Job Overview

The Renewable Energy Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the performance, financial health, and strategic development of KenGen’s renewable energy portfolio in the Makueni region. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze the operational performance of renewable energy assets, ensuring targets for availability, capacity factor, and output are met.
  • Develop and implement asset optimization strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for assigned assets.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to schedule preventive and corrective work while minimizing downtime.

Education
