Job Description (Key Duties & Responsibilities)
Strategic & Technical Leadership
The PS-QoC Advisor will:
- Develop and implement clinical governance frameworks, patient safety strategies, and quality of care systems aligned with MSF International standards
- Design and improve patient safety reporting systems, quality indicators, and monitoring frameworks
- Support implementation of patient charters, patient incident reporting systems, and healthcare minimum standards
- Coordinate quality-of-care committees and contribute to MSF Ubuntu medical strategies and operational planning
- Support institutional healthcare improvement programs and quality initiatives
Technical & Operational Support
- Support country teams in integrating quality improvement plans (QIPs) into healthcare projects
- Strengthen healthcare service delivery through patient safety monitoring and risk reduction strategies
- Conduct regular field visits to support healthcare teams in improving service quality
- Provide technical guidance on healthcare governance and medical program quality
Monitoring, Reporting & Clinical Learning
- Analyze patient experience surveys and healthcare indicators to improve care delivery
- Conduct clinical audits and prepare high-quality reports with actionable recommendations
- Lead evidence-based operational research related to healthcare quality and patient safety
- Translate findings into sustainable healthcare improvements and institutional learning
Representation & Coordination
- Represent MSF Ubuntu in quality-of-care networks, technical platforms, and inter-sectional healthcare forums
- Collaborate with humanitarian health stakeholders and medical specialists across programs
Capacity Building & Staff Development
- Mentor healthcare staff and support recruitment and workforce development
- Facilitate training workshops, webinars, and learning sessions on patient safety culture and healthcare quality standards
- Support development of medical learning materials and healthcare governance tools

- Degree in:
