Job Overview

The Hotel Revenue Management Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing room inventory, pricing strategies and distribution channels for Serena’s new Kitale property. Reporting to the Regional Revenue Director, the analyst will use data‑driven insights to maximize RevPAR, improve market share and support the hotel’s financial objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical booking data, market trends and competitor pricing to develop dynamic rate structures.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and front‑office teams to align promotional activities with revenue goals.
  • Monitor and adjust room inventory across online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS) and direct booking channels.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly revenue performance reports for senior management.
  • Implement forecasting models to predict demand fluctuations and optimize staffing levels.
  • Conduct regular audits of pricing accuracy and ensure compliance with brand standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of hospitality revenue management systems such as OPERA, RevPAR Guru or IDeaS.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings to cross‑functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking with a customer‑centric mindset.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in hotel revenue management, pricing analysis or a comparable role within the hospitality sector. Experience with boutique or upscale properties is preferred.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from SSP 150,000 to SSP 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses are offered to reward exceptional revenue growth.
