Job Overview

The Education Technology Integration Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of technology‑enhanced learning solutions for schools in the Kericho County and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess school needs and develop customized technology integration plans aligned with Kenya’s curriculum standards.
  • Conduct hands‑on training workshops for teachers and administrators on Google Workspace for Education, Classroom, and other EdTech tools.
  • Collaborate with product managers to provide feedback on localization, usability, and feature enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze adoption metrics, preparing detailed reports to guide continuous improvement.
  • Lead pilot projects, evaluate impact, and create scalable models for broader rollout.
  • Serve as a liaison between schools, local education authorities, and Google’s regional teams.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and digital pedagogy.
  • Proficiency with Google’s education suite and other learning management systems.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Data‑analysis expertise to interpret usage statistics and inform decision‑making.
  • Project management experience, with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili; knowledge of local languages is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related discipline is required. Candidates with a Master’s degree or certifications such as Google Certified Educator are highly preferred.

Experience

Minimum of five years’ experience in integrating technology into classroom settings, preferably within the Kenyan education system or comparable emerging markets. Prior experience leading teacher training programs and managing large‑scale educational projects is essential.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of SSP 150,000 to 250,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
