Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital forestry solutions to support sustainable forest management and conservation.
  • Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote forest conservation and sustainable land-use practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for digital forestry applications and develop innovative solutions to address forest conservation challenges.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, local communities, and private sector partners.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to local communities and government agencies on digital forestry tools and techniques.

Required Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in digital forestry, conservation, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing digital forestry solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
