Our team in Kenya is seeking a Digital Forestry Data Analyst to join our Data Science department. The successful candidate will work closely with our forestry team to analyze and interpret large datasets related to forest health, biodiversity, and conservation efforts.
Job Overview
Job Title: Digital Forestry Data Analyst

Salary: 80,000 – 120,000 SSP per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large datasets related to forest health, biodiversity, and conservation efforts
- Develop and maintain databases and data visualizations to support forestry team’s decision-making
- Collaborate with forestry team to design and implement data-driven solutions to environmental challenges
- Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations
Required Skills
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
Experience
5-7 years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
