Reports to: Senior Forestry Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: SSP 50,000 – SSP 70,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data related to forestry and conservation efforts in the region
  • Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track and analyze data
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform conservation efforts
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective data collection and analysis
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and tools (e.g. Excel, SQL, Tableau)
  • Experience with data visualization and presentation software (e.g. Power BI, Adobe Creative Suite)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field

Experience

5-7 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation, preferably in a conservation or environmental context

Salary

SSP 50,000 – SSP 70,000 per month
