Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Hospitality Revenue Manager to join our leadership team in Malindi. This role is critical to our commercial success, focusing on optimizing room rates, inventory, and distribution channels to maximize Total Revenue Per Available Room (TRevPAR). The successful candidate will analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and booking patterns to implement dynamic pricing strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across all room categories.
  • Monitor and analyze market demand, competitor pricing, and seasonal trends to adjust rates dynamically.
  • Manage distribution channels including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking engines to ensure optimal inventory availability.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to align promotional activities with revenue goals.
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly revenue reports for the executive management team.
  • Identify new revenue streams and market segments to expand the hotel’s reach.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Revenue Management Systems (RMS) and Property Management Systems (PMS).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in dynamic pricing models and inventory control.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is mandatory. Professional certification in Revenue Management or Data Analytics is highly preferred.

Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in revenue management within a luxury hotel or resort environment. Proven track record of increasing RevPAR and optimizing distribution channels is essential. Experience in the coastal tourism market of Kenya is a significant advantage.
