We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Data Analyst to join our team in Embu, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to support our clients’ decision-making processes.
Job Overview
As a Geospatial Data Analyst at Esri Eastern Africa, you will play a critical role in helping our clients make informed decisions about their operations. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geospatial data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business strategies.
You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop customized solutions that meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating our GIS databases to ensure that our clients have access to the most up-to-date and accurate information.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Data Analyst who is passionate about working with geospatial data and has a strong understanding of GIS principles and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret geospatial data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can inform business strategies
- Develop customized solutions that meet the needs of our clients
- Maintain and update our GIS databases to ensure that our clients have access to the most up-to-date and accurate information
- Work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
- Collaborate with our team of experts to develop and implement GIS solutions that meet the needs of our clients
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of GIS principles and techniques
- Experience working with geospatial data and GIS software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems or related field
