Key Responsibilities
- Conduct accessibility audits for digital platforms, websites, and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement inclusive design practices.
- Develop and maintain accessibility guidelines aligned with WCAG 2.1 standards.
- Provide training and mentorship on digital accessibility best practices.
- Monitor emerging trends in accessibility technology and advocate for user-centered design.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital accessibility testing and remediation.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508).
- Proficiency in tools like JAWS, NVDA, and screen readers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to analyze user needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or equivalent.
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in digital accessibility or inclusive design.
- Experience working in IT or digital product development environments.
Salary
200,000 – 300,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience.
