Key Responsibilities

  • Execute intra‑bank and inter‑bank fund transfers, foreign exchange transactions, and short‑term investments.
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reports to senior management.
  • Analyze market trends, interest rate movements, and currency fluctuations to advise on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of treasury policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management team to assess and manage financial risks, including liquidity, interest rate, and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Support the Treasury Manager in cash forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Central Bank of Kenya regulations and internal audit requirements.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and treasury management systems.
  • Knowledge of cash management, foreign exchange, and short‑term investment products.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report preparation and stakeholder interaction.

Education
